If you go to primary school (infants or juniors), this is the place for you! On a Friday afternoon, straight after school, come along to the church for over an hour of games, crafts, Bible talks, singing, friends, and more! The afternoon looks a bit like this :

The children enjoy some arts, crafts and a Bible story

From 3:30 Children start arriving. Children make their way from their schools to the church. If you go to Winterbourne Infants, or to Winterbourne Girls or to Winterbourne Boys, we can arrange for leaders from Wayfinders to meet you at the school and walk you to the church. Please contact Helen or Robert Jeffery .

3:30 to 4:00 You get to choose what activity you want to do. Each week there are six activities to choose from. They include remote control cars, colouring, table football, craft activities, dance mat, painting, marbles or skittles, lego, Twister and more! This is also a good time to catch up with your friends.

4:00 to 4:30 We start the main part of the afternoon by answering a question from one of the children about God or Jesus or the Bible. There's singing and a prayer, and then we split into two groups : Infants and Juniors. In our groups, we hear a story from the Bible, and some teaching on what it means. There's always pictures and a clear explanation of what God himself is saying to us. If you want to know more about the kind of message you'll hear, click here.

4:30 to 5:00 Most weeks we have team games at this point, using balls, balloons, buckets, bats and anything else the leaders can think of! Some weeks we do a big craft activity instead. At 5:00 pm, the leaders give out prizes to children who've got five points for good behaviour, brilliant answers in the talks, good singing and things like that. Someone comes to collect us ... and we wait for next Friday's Wayfinders!
