Instruments in the Redeemer’s Hands

The final session in the Instruments in the Redeemer’s Hands course designed to help us all maintain a close relationship with the Lord, and to help us to know how to encourage others to do so also, is at 8pm on Monday evening

Christian Institute

The Christian Institute will be holding a meeting on Wednesday 29th March at 7.30pm at Sanderstead Evangelical Church, 82 Limpsfield Road, Sanderstead, CR2 9EB when Christian Institute staff will speak about concerns facing Christians today, such as the Ashers Baking case, the threat to youth work from Ofsted if they are deemed to have failed the “British values” test and radical gender ideology promoting transsexualism in schools. All these are important matters to consider so we will not hold our own meeting that evening to enable everyone to go to this meeting. If you would like transport from the church, please speak to Peter Dunn.

Answers in Genesis

There will be a meeting on Saturday 22nd April at 6.30pm at Sanderstead Evangelical Church, 82 Limpsfield Road, Sanderstead CR2 9EB when Simon Turpin from Answers in Genesis (a ministry dedicated to equipping Christians to be able to defend the authority of the Bible from the very first verse) will speak on The Relevance of Genesis: The Foundation of the Gospel and Jesus: Scripture and Creation. All are welcome to attend.

Retired Gentlemen’s Fellowship

A small group of men has begun to meet informally once a month for a time of social contact over morning coffee/tea, leading into Bible study and prayer together. We would like to make this meeting more generally known and invite others to join us. While our name reflects the basic make-up of the group, there is actually no age restriction. If you are a gentleman who is retired, semi-retired, or for other reasons available during the daytime, you will be very welcome.

We meet at my home, and our next meeting will be, God willing, on Thursday morning March 30th, from 10.30 to 12.00. Please see me if you would like details.

Colin Appleton
